By accessing or using Rescriby ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Rescriby is an AI-powered writing assistant that helps you improve your writing across desktop applications. The Service uses artificial intelligence, including third-party large language model (LLM) providers, to analyze and enhance your text.

3. AI Processing of Content

By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that text you submit for processing will be sent to third-party AI and LLM providers for analysis and improvement. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, you should not submit sensitive, confidential, or regulated information through the Service unless you are comfortable with this processing.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
  • Not use the Service to generate content that is harmful, abusive, harassing, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials.
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.
  • Not interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the original content you submit to the Service. The output generated by the Service based on your input is yours to use. Rescriby retains all rights to the Service itself, including its software, design, branding, and underlying technology.

6. Subscription and Payment

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled in accordance with our refund policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rescriby shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Rescriby does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated output.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may discontinue use of the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Rescriby operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
